John Genter
National Sales Manager

John has 40 years of experience in growing product brands with Procter & Gamble, Gallo Winery, and in the air filter industry.   He has 21 years with National Sales Manager experience in the air filter industry with Purafilter/Protect Plus, Tri-Dim Filter Corp, Mann+Hummel and now with Zephyr Filtration. 

John worked with Mike Zimmer as his National Sales Manager for Purafilter2000 / Protect Plus starting in 2003.  He is now teamed with Mike Zimmer for the second time at Zephyr Filtration. 

John was born & raised in Huntsville-AL where his Dad was a NASA rocket engineer at Marshall Space Flight Center.  John graduated with a B.S. in Marketing/Business from the University of Alabama where had a full scholarship on their nationally ranked debate team.  John started his sales career selling books door-to-door with The Southwestern Company during summers while in college.  He is married to his wife (Tracy), has two children & three grandchildren, and lives on a lake outside of Birmingham-AL.
