National Director of Manufacturing

A Husband and a father; I have three children. Julissa 26, Joseph 17, and Joaquin 12. I have been married for 26 years to my best friend and partner Lorena Santos. My passion is saltwater fishing, I grew up in the Houston area close to where I currently live. We have a large group of friends that date back to our school years.

Started my career in Oil and Gas working as a Quality Assurance manager for National Oilwell Houston. Had an opportunity to work in the Motion Picture Industry and Theater industry in my twenties, where I was able to move to a leadership position in the first few years. In 2001 I returned to Houston to work with a Design company as the operations manager / plant Manager. 2004 was my first year in the filtration industry. The company was small but grew fast to become a major competitor in the retail filtration market. The company was acquired by a private equity firms five times over 20 years. The Houston plant held the number 1 spot in Safety, continuous Improvement and -efficiency. My record as a leader and a team builder has led me to move to Zephyr filtration where I will work to build a first-class operations team to tackle the future growth. I am a Lean Manufacturing Champion and believe in continuous improvement strategies. I will always make safety the main priority, a healthy workforce can be a productive workforce.
